Service overview
Cert Monitor is an SSL/TLS certificate monitoring service. You can add domains, custom TLS ports, or HTTPS URLs so the system can check certificate status and send email reminders.
The service is offered on an as-available basis. It is intended to reduce certificate expiry risk, but it is not a substitute for your own operational judgment, monitoring stack, or incident response.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for the activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate email addresses and only add notification inboxes that you control or are authorized to use.
Acceptable use
You may use the service only for lawful monitoring of domains, hosts, and ports that you are authorized to observe. This service performs checks from the public internet and can only monitor publicly accessible HTTPS endpoints.
You may not use Cert Monitor to scan private networks, probe internal services without authorization, overload targets, interfere with the service, evade limits, reverse engineer the platform, or send alerts to inboxes you do not control.
Abuse includes but is not limited to: high-frequency bulk scanning, malicious probing of systems you do not own, using automation to evade rate limits, sending alerts to unverified or unauthorized inboxes, or any behavior that creates undue load on our infrastructure or third-party targets.
Service boundaries
This service does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, real-time checks, or delivery of every email alert. Check frequency, queue timing, and notification delivery can vary.
This service does not provide warranties for certificate validity, domain ownership, uptime, legal compliance of monitored systems, or suitability for high-risk or regulated workloads.
This service does not offer SLA commitments and is not intended for formal legal audits, security compliance certifications, or critical infrastructure protection. We do not provide legal warranties for the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of check results.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend, throttle, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create operational risk, or abuse the service.
We may change, pause, or discontinue the service or any feature at any time.
